Night Drive

The appeal of a night drive is to attempt to locate nocturnal animals and birds that cannot be seen during daytime hours, or to experience behaviors and wildlife interactions that might be best observed after dark. One night drive  is built into the cost of your accommodations and night drives are conducted by Ndabaka staff in an open-sided vehicle, with our Maasai tracker seating in a jump seat on the front of the vehicle with a spot-light to help locate wildlife. It is important to remember there are never any guarantees on what will be seen at night, but the perspective of being an observer after dark is always memorable. In the past, clients have seen aardvark, hyena, lions on a hunt and kill, leopard hunting, elephants, impala, zebra, owls, night jar, bush babies and many giraffe. There is a large pride of lions with their territory overlapping the property, a male leopard often roaming near the property and there is the new introduction of black rhino into the northern Serengeti and roaming up to Loliondo.

The suite tents are comfortable, along with a writing desk. All tents have electricity, flush toilets and hot and cold running water.  All tents have stunning views of the Serengeti.  The tents provide a writing desk, luggage racks, small seating arrangement and outdoor lounge chairs.
